International Woman’s Day is the time to uphold women’s achievements, recognize challenges, and focus greater attention on women’s rights and gender equality to mobilize ALL people to do their part.

You can recognize the achievement of the woman in your life with our #IWD2015 flower collection, and do some good at the same time: Between March 1st and March 8th of 2015 Scent and Violet florist will donate 25% of the sale of all flowers in our #IWD2015 Collection to Fort Bend Woman’s Center.

 We also invite you to take time and reflect on all the great achievements by woman in your life, and at the same time feel compassion to many woman around our beautiful world who are still struggling to achieve basic human rights: If you have time to “Walk the Bone Labyrinth” at Rothko Chapel it will give you great opportunity to reflect on the ways to end violence toward the woman.

On the lighter note, you can just go out with your friends and raise your glass to the women!
