Scent & Violet has partnered with Favor delivery app. Favor is on-demand delivery app focused on Texas, owned by one of the favorite Texan companies: HEB.

Here, at Scent & Violet we were becoming increasingly aware of the need for fast on-demand delivery specifically in our west Houston neighborhood. Unfortunately, our in-house delivery program was not designed to allow that. In order to keep the cost of the delivery down for our customers we opted to utilize grouping of the deliveries. Having a hot-shot delivery for low cost was just not possible. Therefore we started looking into delivery companies that would enable us to offer fast, on-demand delivery of flowers. Majority of the companies we looked into offered hot-shot delivery of either documents or food – none of which worked for us. We looked with slight envy into UberEats, DoorDash and Postmates… and they all offered food delivery in our area, but not much else. That’s when a fellow florist suggested Favor. Company that originated in Austin, TX was offering delivery of more than just food. In 2018, HEB (largest private employer in Texas) bought Favor and expanded their delivery service to include: grocery store items, wine, beer, and of course flowers.

This is where Scent & Violet saw the chance – Favor delivery service operates in local 5-miles area and is offering quick on-demand delivery of flowers. Favor delivery app supports our brick-and-mortar flower shop by meeting one of our customer’s revolving need: last-minute flowers.

FAQ

How does ordering with Favor work?

• You can order flowers from Scent & Violet via Favor app during our regular business hours.
• Go to favordelivery.com or download the Favor app.
• Enter your address.
• Click search and type in either “scent” or “flowers”
• Click on Scent & Violet
• Select any product you’d like: Bouquet of flowers only, bouquet + vase, some of our florist designed arrangement, or plant. We even have candles, balloons, and plush bears.
• After you order, you will be assigned one of the Favor runners. Runners act as your personal assistants and keep you updated on progress via text messaging.
• You can track your delivery and pay directly through Favor app.

What if no one is home to accept flowers?

We do not recommend sending your Favor Runners into unknown. Order flowers only if you’re absolutely sure someone is there to receive them.

Do I need to order a vase?

Depends. Flowers need water. Our flower bouquets are wrapped in brown paper and will have to be placed into water immediately upon delivery. If you have a vase at home or office, you do not have to order vase. If you do not have one, we recommend ordering vase with your flower bouquet.

Can I order custom bouquet through Favor app?

We do not offer custom bouquets through Favor app. Favor delivery app has been designed for quick on-demand delivery, and custom bouquets require significant amount of preparation and time.
