Our very own Scent & Violet shop has been featured as hidden gem outside of the 610 loop, and co-owner Amra as inspiring story in Voyage Magazine of Houston.

Our friend came up with somewhat crazy notion: Luxury product can be made in Texas. Here at Scent & Violet, we were all for it – not sure about the rest of the world.

There are actually 200 different species of Iris, and at least five of these are thought to be native to Texas. The Biota of North America website lists nine species that grow wild in Texas, so there is, apparently, some controversy about the Iris native to Texas.

After reviewing 523 floral designers in the Houston area, Expertise.com selected the top 20 using a curated process that ensured the best of the best was found.
